Fuckers. Is that a locked garage? Because if it is, I think you have a really good reason to talk to the homeowner's association about putting cameras in all of them if RESIDENTS are taking things.

In fact, they might have cameras set up - it wouldn't hurt to check.

I don't think it was a resident. There was new graffiti on the wall next to the cage. There was also a report a few months back of suspicious vehicle driving through the garage. Resident or no I think it's still a strong case for cameras (doubly so since I just got notice that they are raising the HOA fee $40/month in January).

Well, tack-welding a thin sheet of steel to the inside of the screen and adding a slide latch that would prevent the corners from pulling out when padlocked wouldn't be more than a half-day's effort if everything was at hand.

They could move this to a enclosed room.

I've recently went to look at a storage unit that I will have to assess for a rediculous amount of money.

Unless the HOA want to start covering thefts from these storage units, they will need to do something about providing cover to block the contents of these units from view.
